Bella learnt how to dive on Koh Tao in Thailand in 2013 and instantly fell in love with the
underwater world. After finishing her Advanced Open Water course a few months later in
Greece she explored the reefs in South East Asia, the Mediterranean and Central America.
whenever she had the time to get away from her business studies and then later her corporate
job she pursued exploring the underwater world.

Quitting her job in Project Management she went on an indefinite backpacking trip through
Mexico and Central America and came to Utila to do "only a few"  fun dives and then continue
her travels. A few days on the island were enough to make her fall in love with the layed back
lifestyle and the beautiful healthy coral reefs all around Utila and she decided to stay for a while
and do her PADI Divemaster training. Not sure if she would lose the passion for diving once it
became a job she first considered the training as an opportunity to do a lot of dives but slowly it
became clear that working in the dive industry would be a perfect change in career for her.
After completing her Divemaster Training she worked for 6 months as a Divemaster before
becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

Hundreds of dives later she still gets excited every time the dive boat leaves the dock and
bringing her passion for our ocean to new divers makes being an instructor the most rewarding
job in the world.
